Barflies Drops 19-3 Game To Lippstadt Ochmoneks
Raaaul Barroso went 2-2 at the plate, but Barflies fell 19-3 to Lippstadt Ochmoneks at Lippstadt on Sunday.
D. Schulze-Waltrup got the win for Lippstadt Ochmoneks. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered four hits.
Lippstadt Ochmoneks easily handled Barflies pitching as seven hitters combined for 16 hits, 13 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
Marco Warnath couldn’t get it done on the rubber for Barflies, taking a loss. He allowed nine runs in four innings, walked four and struck out four.
The bottom of the second saw Lippstadt Ochmoneks take an early lead, 2-0. Lippstadt Ochmoneks‘ threat began with a single by S Fnuh. A single by V Schmedskrotlet then moved Fnuh from first to second. Noel Heiler singled, scoring Fnuh. Lippstadt Ochmoneks then tacked on more runs when Schmedskrotlet scored on a passed ball.
The game’s last lead went to Lippstadt Ochmoneks thanks to a third inning rally that saw two runs cross the plate on.
Lippstadt Ochmoneks increased its lead with five runs in the fourth. The inning got off to a hot start when Fnuh singled, scoring Andreas Löffler and Mats Busemann. That was followed up by Schmedskrotlet’s single, bringing home Bj Cambacho.

Bochum Barflies vs Verl / Gütersloh Yaks

Barflies Can’t Capture Shootout, Loses 20-12 To Verl / Gütersloh Yaks
Eighteen hits weren’t enough for Barflies as it lost a shootout, 20-12, to Verl / Gütersloh Yaks on Sunday at Bochum.
Even though Sascha Rosen allowed 12 runs over nine innings he still recorded the victory. He struck out six, walked six and surrendered 18 hits.
Verl / Gütersloh Yaks easily handled Barflies pitching as six hitters combined for 13 hits, 13 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
Marco Warnath ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked two and struck out six.
After a quick strike from Verl / Gütersloh Yaks, Barflies responded with one run in the first. Barflies scored on an RBI single by Tobias Froning.
The lead stayed with Verl / Gütersloh Yaks after the third, when it scored three runs on a fielder’s choice and two singles.
Verl / Gütersloh Yaks increased its lead with two runs in the fourth. The inning got off to a hot start when Dessn doubled, plating Sterzer. That was followed up by Wulf’s single, scoring Sebastian Wulf.
Two runs in the bottom of the fourth helped Barflies close its deficit to 6-3. An RBI double by Hendrik Gerhardt and an RBI single by Raaaul Barroso set off Barflies rally. Finally, Rosen got Warnath to to end the threat.
Verl / Gütersloh Yaks brought home three runs in the fifth inning, and matched that run total in the eighth. In the fifth, Verl / Gütersloh Yaks scored on an RBI single by Sterzer, plating Dreier.
One run in the bottom of the fifth helped Barflies close its deficit to 9-4. A sacrifice fly by Froning fueled Barflies‘ comeback. Verl / Gütersloh Yaks stopped the rally after Rosen got Philipp Skottki to strike out.
Eight runs in the bottom of the ninth helped Barflies close its deficit to 20-12. An RBI single by Andreas Laudien, a two-run triple by Froning, an RBI single by Skottki, a two-run single by Stephan Tonk, an RBI single by Julian Horn, and an RBI double by Laudien gave Barflies life. Verl / Gütersloh Yaks‘ Rosen induced a Jonas Kaufmann to close things out.

Barflies Can’t Capture Shootout, Loses 16-8 To Hagen Chipmunks II
Eight hits weren’t enough for Barflies as it lost a shootout, 16-8, to Hagen Chipmunks two on Sunday at Hagen.
Stephan Tonk reached base four times. He singled in the ninth inning.
Even though B Balk allowed eight runs over nine innings he still recorded the victory. He struck out nine, walked 12 and surrendered eight hits.
Andreas Laudien couldn’t get it done on the hill for Barflies, taking a loss. He allowed 14 runs in six innings, walked three and struck out four.
It didn’t take long for Hagen Chipmunks two to respond as it scored five runs of its own in the second. Hagen Chipmunks two scored on an RBI single by T Zilinski, a hit by pitch, an error, an error, and an error.
Hagen Chipmunks two stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fourth, scoring six runs on a two-run double by C Penger, an error, and three singles.
One run in the top of the seventh helped Barflies close its deficit to 14-8. An error gave Barflies life. Laudien to end the Barflies threat.
