The Bochum Barflies are hosting the 2nd Annual Pre-Season Round Robin Tournament, a friendly but competitive warm-up event to prepare for the 2025 baseball season. This year, we are welcoming back the Hochdahl Neanderthals and Hagen Chipmunks, and we’re excited to add Untouchables Paderborn 3 to the lineup!

With four games on the schedule, teams will test their skills and teamwork in a fast-paced format with 1 hour 20-minute time limits per game. The tournament serves as a great opportunity to fine-tune strategies, get live-game reps, and enjoy the spirit of baseball before the regular season begins.

🏟 Game Schedule:

• 11:00 – Hagen Chipmunks vs. Bochum Barflies (Umpire: Hochdahl)

• 12:30 – Hochdahl Neanderthals vs. Hagen Chipmunks (Umpire: Paderborn)

• 14:00 – Bochum Barflies vs. Untouchables Paderborn 3 (Umpire: Hagen)

• 15:30 – Untouchables Paderborn 3 vs. Hochdahl Neanderthals (Umpire: Bochum)

This pre-season tournament is free to attend, and fans are encouraged to come out and support their teams. There will be food and drinks available on-site, and plenty of great baseball to enjoy.

 Old Rivals, New Challenge! 

The Barflies kick off the season with a special preseason showdown against the Herne Allstars—a team made up of former players who once battled us as the Herne Lizards before their club dissolved. Some of these familiar faces even wore the Barflies uniform for a few seasons before hanging up their cleats. Now, they’re back for one more challenge!

Expect a fun but competitive matchup as past and present Barflies meet on the field. Who will take the win in this nostalgic face-off?
