Cho Shines With Four Hits, Not Enough To Overcome Dortmund Wanderers II

Cho had four hits, but the BarLiz fell to the Dortmund Wanderers II 22-17 on Sunday. Cho singled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the eighth, and singled in the eighth.

The BarLiz collected 18 hits and Dortmund  had 15 in the high-scoring affair.

Dortmund scored five runs in the ninth inning. Dortmund batters contributing to the big inning included Schulz, Wagaman, and Baienbrüncker, all driving in runs in the inning.

Wieczorek earned the victory on the hill for the Wanderers II. He allowed ten hits and ten runs over five and two-thirds innings, striking out five.

Theis took the loss for the BarLiz. He surrendered six runs on two hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out seven.

Groer started the game for Dortmund . He went three and a third innings, allowing seven runs on eight hits, striking out three and walking one Müller started the game for the BarLiz. He surrendered six runs on seven hits over three innings, striking out three and walking one.

Dortmund smacked two home runs on the day. Möller had a homer in the first inning and Winklareth went for the long ball in the seventh inning.

The BarLiz saw the ball well today, racking up 18 hits in the game. Cho, Ulrich, Müller, Theis, and Froning each racked up multiple hits for the BarLiz. Cho led the BarLiz with four hits in four at bats.

Dortmund totaled 15 hits in the game. Winklareth, Möller, Schulz, Webb, and Wiederstein each collected multiple hits for Dortmund. Winklareth went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Dortmund Wanderers 2 in hits. Christoph led Dortmund with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 11 stolen bases.

BarLiz Defeated By Rheine Mavericks

BarLiz opened up scoring in the first inning. BarLiz scored one run when Jarocki tripled.

In the top of the fourth inning, Rheine Mavericks tied things up at three. Adams’s sac fly scored one run for Rheine Mavericks.

Rheine Mavericks took the lead for good with two runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth Martes doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and Göwert singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Rheine Mavericks scored three runs in the sixth inning. The big inning for Rheine Mavericks came thanks to a triple by Brazden and a double by Martes.

Göwert earned the win for Rheine Mavericks. He surrendered two runs on five hits over six innings, striking out two and walking one.

Müller took the loss for BarLiz. He surrendered ten runs on 12 hits over eight innings, striking out five.

Martinez started the game for the Mavericks. He lasted three innings, allowing one hit and three runs while striking out four
Jarocki went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead BarLiz in hits.

Rheine racked up 12 hits. Martes and Schenkelberger each had multiple hits for the Mavericks. Martes led Rheine with three hits in five at bats.

MÜLLER Throws Shutout As BarLiz Defeat Untouchables Paderborner III

Müller shut down Untouchables Paderborner 3, throwing a complete game shutout and leading the BarLiz to a 15-0 victory on Sunday.

BarLiz fired up the offense in the first inning. Cho doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

BarLiz notched six runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to walks by Bruckmann, Barroso-Mayeta, Cho, and Ulrich, a single by Wenk, and by Müller.

One bright spot for Untouchables Paderborner 3 was a single by Nieslony in the fourth inning.

Müller pitched the BarLiz to victory. He lasted six innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out eight.

Nieslony took the loss for Untouchables Paderborner 3. He lasted five innings, allowing 12 hits and 12 runs while striking out four.

BarLiz totaled 12 hits. Cho and Müller each collected multiple hits for the BarLiz. Müller and Cho each managed three hits to lead BarLiz. BarLiz tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Ulrich led the way with three.
